Q - What is the process to get installation done?

A - In case our installation agents haven't called you already, the customer needs to call our customer care number or raise a ticket on the above link to request installation.

Q - Is wall mounting provided for Televisions?

A - Yes, wall mounting is provided for televisions. The required bracket and parts will be brought by the installation technician.

Q - What are the charges for wall mounting Ecotvs?

A - Wall mounting, installation and demo is provided free of cost.

Q - What is the operating system for the Ecotvs?

A - The TVs run the EUI 5.8 OS which is based on Android 6.0.

Q - Can we install third party applications on the Ecotvs?

A - Third party applications can be installed using APK files. Although, in case the operating system or pre-installed apps do not function properly due to additional feature/app installation, LeEco shall not be held responsible.

Q - What are the connectivity options available on the Ecotvs?

A - The connectivity options available are WiFi, Device Cast, Bluetooth 4.1, USB 3.0, HDMI 2.0.

Q - Do the Ecotvs support remote voice control?

A - No, currently Ecotvs do not support remote voice control. We are working on bringing the same in an update in the near future.

Q - What are the warranty terms for the Ecotvs?

A - The Ecotvs come with a 2 year warranty period. The warranty can be claimed against a valid LeMall invoice.

LeEco Super 4 Series smart TV range launched in India With Vibrant Features

LeEco has officially announced its new Super 4 smart TV series in India. The range consists of three models, the X40, X43 Pro and the X50 Pro. As the name suggests, the models come in 40-inch, 43-inch and 50-inch screen sizes.

The new TV range is available on Amazon.in as well the company’s own LeMall online store. Pricing is Rs 46,990 for the 40-inch model, Rs 63,990 for the 43-inch model and Rs 86,990 for the 50-inch model. As a special launch offer, LeEco is offering the TVs at a discounted price of Rs 42,490, Rs 57,490 and Rs 78,490 respectively.

The 43-inch and 50-inch variants come with 4K (3840×2160) LED panel while the 40-inch variant comes with a Full HD (1920×1080) panel. All the three variants are powered by a 64-bit quad-core ARM Cortex CRM processor and a Mali GPU with 3GB of DDR3 RAM. The 40-inch and 43-inch models feature 16GB of internal storage while the 50-inch variant gets 32GB of storage. This space can be used to store apps and media. All three TVs also run Android 6.0 Marshmallow with the company’s EUI 5.8.

As for the audio, the 50-inch features Harmon Kardon speakers while the rest of the two feature regular speakers with Dolby Digital Plus.

Connectivity features include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, LAN port, 2 HDMI ports and 2 USB 3.0 ports. Additional features include Bluelight filter, HDR support, gesture control, Google voice search, USB camera support and more. The company is offering no cost EMI options as well as 2 year warranty on the new TV range.

2. Call recording function

You can’t fail to be impressed by this feature. The advantage of inbuilt call recording is that the recording is generally of a better quality than app-based recording. This feature helps if you need to record a conversation for your job or if you just want to make sure you don’t forget a conversation.

To record a call, just click the ‘Record audio’ option on the calling screen

 
3. Added blacklist in contact

How many times have you been in a situation where you would like to block a phone number or not accept any call from a specific contact? By using the blacklist function, you can easily add a contact to your undesired list. This can be done by clicking on

Contacts> Select any contact> More> Add to blacklist

 
4. Added Dual-app feature
This is a great feature that’s available in very few smartphones right now. Dual-app feature allows users to create separate spaces for WeChat within the same device. To enable the dual apps, Go to Settings> Dual-app

 

5. Small font
With the addition of small font to its existing font sizes, users can now set their preference for a Small font for reading, texting and browsing purpose. To enable small font on your Le2 and Le Max2 devices, navigate to

Settings> Display> Font size

 
6. Three-finger screenshot
Screenshots are one of the most important parts of our conversations and communication. Now, you can capture screenshots with our easy-to-use ‘Three-finger screenshot’ feature.

You can quickly capture screenshots of any screen or app through smart gestures simply by swiping three fingers across the screen. In order to enable these feature, head to

Settings> Accessibility> Three-finger screenshot

 

7. Privacy lock

Privacy lock is the feature to look out for if you don't want anyone to view your important notes, messages and recordings saved on your smartphone. In order to set it up, navigate to

Phone manager> Security and privacy> Privacy lock

 

8. Separate ringtone for dual sim card

It’s a feature that needs the most appreciation. Now, users can assign a different ringtone for each SIM card on their smartphone.

For instance, if you have two SIMs installed – one for business and one for your personal us – this feature helps you to differentiate immediately whether the incoming call is a job-related one or a private one without having to look at your phone. You can set it up by heading to
Settings> Sounds and vibration> Call ringtone

 

9. Added virus scan

Smartphones are no longer just basic communication devices, rather they have become pocket PCs. So it's no wonder that we often hear of the potential for security problems as we download documents and email attachments.

Hence, the integrated Virus detect feature on Le2 and Le Max2 will scan your apps and files and protect them from malware, virus and also helps in safe browsing. This feature can be enabled by clicking on

Phone manager> Security and privacy

 

10. Harassment filter

This is a one-stop feature to block calls from spammers, annoying strangers, telemarketers, and other unwanted callers. Don’t want to suffer these unwanted calls? Block them! You can set up the Harassment filter by navigating to

Phone Manager> Harassment filter

SuperTV LeEco

1. Speed Test



With the SuperTVs integrated Speed test feature, one can check the accurate speed of an internet connection without installing any 3rd party applications. Besides showing the average Internet speed, it also recommends a resolution to watch online videos.
You can perform the Speed test by going to Settings> Network> Speed Test.

2. Simplelist View

 

Confused with the LIVE menu? Simply switch over to Simplelist view which allows you to view a list of channels instead of a grid view on the LIVE screen setting. You can change the grid view to Simplelist view by following these steps: LIVE> Hover to top right> Simplelist.

3. Favourites

 

Want to create a list of your favourite channels? Add them to Favourites for easy and quick access by following these simple steps…
LIVE> Open a Channel> Click menu on Remote> Add to Favourites.

4. Watch history

 

Want to access the channels that you watched last week? The Watch history feature allows you to find the channels that you watched recently or watch frequently. Simply follow the following steps: LIVE> Watch history (Top Left Corner).

5. Parent lock

 

If privacy is your main concern, then you can lock your TV from switching on or lock any specific app by setting a pin code by using the Parent lock feature. This feature is handy as you can control what your children watch and protect them from content that is unsuitable for them.

You can also add an email address to recover your pin in case you forget it. To access the Parent lock feature please go to TV Manager> Parent lock.

6. TV Manager

 

Quite often we install apps from the Play Store and these apps continue to run in the background and slow down the user interface. So with the in-built TV Manager feature you can optimize and boost the performance of your SuperTV with a single click.

This feature helps you to optimize your TV system effectively by ending unnecessary processes and clearing the cache data generated in the process. To optimize your SuperTV go to TV Manager> Run Checkup.

7. Offline EUI update

 

What if you do not have an internet connection at home, but you still want to upgrade your EUI to get the latest features and optimizations? In this tricky scenario, you can use our Offline update method to upgrade your EUI on your SuperTV. Follow the steps below to begin the offline update.

• Download the TV update package to a PC from the link given on our LeMeIndia forum EUI page - http://forum.le.com/in/eui_list.html
• Copy the update package to an external USB drive
• Use TV Remote Right navigation key to Move to App Desktop
• Tap on System update
• Tap on Offline update
• Select the update file to download

8. Default TV desktop

 

If you want to change your default desktop screen to the input or app screens instead of the LIVE default screen when the TV starts or boots up, you can change it with the Manager page settings by heading over to Settings> System> Desktop.

9. Schedule Power Off

 

This is a very handy feature if you want to schedule your TV timings especially when you want to limit or restrict your children from watching TV beyond a certain time. You can automatically shut down your TV at a specific time by using the Schedule power off feature by visiting Settings> System> General> Power.

10. Bluetooth Connectivity

 

Want to watch your TV programmes without disturbing people around you? Connect your LeEco Bluetooth headset by following these steps - Settings> System> Accessories> Bluetooth.
